been very busy

Been very busy lately due to meet orders for Ms Lina & Ms Yati from Drillquip for their colleague birthday on 27/06/08....they ordered pulut kuning, roti kirai with chicken rendang and puding koko..Alhamdulillah...manage to do it without any hassle although hubby can't help due to work commitment. Many thanks Ms Lina & ms Yati for your continous support to Nana Delights.

Then on 28/06/07, there's order for coconut blossom from Cik Timah (mum's friend)...


and on 29/06/08 Cik Misah (mum's friend too) ordered kuih tako and puding jagung for her relative wedding lunch. To meet her orders were really a challenged to me as I'm dead tired after slogging for 2 days doing the delicacies and kuihs for Ms Lina & Cik Timah. Without hubby readiness to give a hand, I doubt if I can meet the deadline....

even though we slept late at about 2 am you still wake up early to help me do the packing, deliver and do marketing (for barang2 dapur) with me....thanks dear.....

Simple Mushroom Spaghetti (24th June 2008)



Niari kita masak spaghetti je....kita guna sauce instant je.....




600gm daging kisar.....di goreng hingga masak dan biarkan sedikit berair




masukkan 2 tin pasta sauce.......masak hingga bubbly


masukkan 1 tin sliced mushroom (di toskan airnya dan cuci)...masak lagi selama 5 minit lagi.


Didihkan air dan rebus 1 paket spaghetti....tambahkan 1 sudumakan garam dan 2 sudumakan minyak di dalam air rebusan spaghetti dan rebus selama 10 minit......


dan.....siap.....senangkan.............

19th June 2008

Hari ini bangun pagi2 tapi tak sempat nak tengok matahari terbit sebab bila bangun dah pun terbit..so jalan2 kat gigi pantai je dengan Fana....gembira sangat sebab dah lama tak pergi ke laut...

Air sedang surut.......Pukul 9.00 pg bersarapan ala buffet....



Lepas sarapan, pukul 11.00 pg kita semua pergi ke Desaru Fruit Farm


Hmm..macam pokok buah yang ada kat situ....pokok durian....

cermai..... dan banyak lagilah....


daun-daun herba pun ada juga.....


kesum....


misai kucing......


daun selasih dan banyak lagi.....anak-anak suka, mak-mak & bapak-bapak pun suka....rasa-rasanya berbaloi juga pergi tempat begini....

Masa balik kami semua makan seafood....sedap.....

Petang mandi laut pulak....

bestnya.....tapi malam...suhu badan Aiman naik lagi.....hai..tak tidur lagi malam tu..........

Hati Goreng Berempah



Hari ini kita masak lauk hati lembu goreng berempah. Hati lembu ni adalah makanan kegemaran hubby dan anak-anak juga. Kalau kita memanglah suka juga tapi tak boleh makan banyak2 sebab nanti blood pressure naik...naya...


nak lawankan lauk hati goreng, kita masak sayur bayam masak bening dan goreng ikan selar kuning ( belum goreng lagi sebab hubby suka makan panas2 so nanti petang bila dia balik baru goreng garing2).

Orange Loaf


Buat kek sebab masa tu macam megidam gitu nak makan kek oren. Browse punya browse kat internet jumpa pulak resepi ni dari ' allrecipes.com'...so apalagi try lah dan ternyata sedap....

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup white sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and nuts.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in rind and 1/2 cup juice. Pour in flour mixture, and stir until moistened. Turn into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until done. Remove loaf from oven, but not from pan.
  4. Combine 1/2 cup orange juice with 1/4 cup sugar in a small saucepan. Heat and stir to dissolve sugar. Spoon glaze over hot loaf. Let stand in pan for 10 minutes before removing loaf to rack to cool.

Cream Cheese Strawberry Pound Cake


Kek ini aku buat petang tadi. Bila bukak fridge nampak pulak strawberries & cream cheese so aku pun bukaklah buku resepi dan carilah resepi yg sesuai dengan ingredient yg aku ada dan jumpa pulak resepi kek ini so inilah hasilnya...sedappp bangetttt...

Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
250g butter, softened
250g cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
15 - 20 fresh strawberries, quartered
1/4 cup all purpose flour


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degress C). Grease and flour 9 or 10' tube pan. Mix together the flour and baking powder.

2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. Mix in flour and mixing just until incorporated. Mix strawberries with 1/4 cup flour, then fold into batter. Spread into prepared pan.
3. Bake for 80 minutes.

Milk Tart




Since I have all the ingredients in hand, so I thought why not giving this recipe a try. It's no regret though as the kids like it so much and the hubby too. It was quite messy a first but I'm quite expert now.....
The recipe called for 2 9' pie pan but I prefer to bake it into mini tartlets.

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon mixed with 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar. Add 1 egg and beat until mixture is smooth. In a separate bowl, mix together 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture just until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Press mixture into bottom and sides of two 9-inch pie pans.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  4. In a large saucepan, combine milk, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then remove from burner.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together 2 1/2 tablespoons flour, cornstarch, and 1/2 cup sugar. Add beaten eggs to sugar mixture and whisk until smooth. Slowly whisk mixture into milk. Return pan to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 5 minutes. Pour half of mixture into each pastry shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Chill before serving.

Hari ini kat rumah kita ada gathering untuk adik beradik sebelah kita sambil-sambil tu kita celebrate sekali Father's Day. So kita buatlah pulut kuning...

So kita ingat nak bersantai-santailah dengan mak bapak, adik-beradik dan ipar-duai (Boos pun ada juga) kita nak karaoke gitu...tapi tup-tup ada tetamu lain yang datang juga....hai...terus terencat nak nyanyi-nyanyi...so boring......

Mini Pizza

Hari sabtu malam kita ngan hubby bersengkang mata sebab nak siapkan brownies untuk hari minggu. Ingatkan nak buat ala-ala cake gitulah, nak conteng2 tapi white chocolate yang kita beli tu tak berapa bagus sangat so terpaksalah buat yang macam biasa....


Dalam pada tu sempat juga buat mini pizza tapi kita bakar the next day. Kita cuma siapkan dan masukkan dulu dalam fridge jadi nanti sunday senang sikit tinggal masuk oven je....



Mini Pizza

Bahan2 utk pizza sauce:
1 tin tomato sauce (15oz)
1 tin tomato paste (6 oz)
1 sudu makan oregano
1 1/2 suduteh bawang puteh cincang
1 suduteh brown sugar

satukan kesemua bahan di atas dan gaul hingga rata

Bahan2nya:

12 biji roti burger dibelah dua
10 keping meatloaf di potong kecil-kecil
6 keping sliced cheese (setiap satu keping di jadikan empat)
1/2 cawan mixed vegetables


Sapukan pizza sauce di permukaan roti pizza, taburkan meatloaf, mixed vegetable dan letak sekeping cheese di tengah2nya. Bakar untuk 10 minit atau sehingga cheese cair.

Hari Sabtu hubby tak kerja so kita siapkan scrambled egg sandwich dan se teko nescafe untuk sarapan.



Lepas sarapan kita, hubby, Aiman & Farhanah pergi JP nak cari barang2 sebab Sunday nak buat Father's Day celebration kat rumah. Dah terlanjur kat luar, untuk makan tengahari kita beli je..
Untuk dinner kita masak nasi goreng kampung.


Macroni Goreng

Hari Jumaat yang lepas tak masak tengahari, beli kat luar je. So untuk dinner kita masak macroni goreng dan goreng chicken nuggets.










Macroni Goreng

Bahan-bahannya:

500g macroni
200g daging kisar
2 keping fishcake (dihiris)
50g sayur campur
Gula/garam

bahan-bahan kisar:
1 labu bawang besar
3 ulas bawang putih
10 - 15 batang lada kering


Rebus macroni di dalam air yang mendidih hingga lembut kira2 10 minit.

Tumiskan bahan2 kisar hingga garing dan masukkan daging kisar dan masak hingga daging empuk.

Masukkan gula dan garam ikut rasa. Masukkan fishcake dan sayur campur dan masak untuk lima minit lagi. Masukkan macroni yang telah direbus tadi dan gaulkan hingga rata dan masaklah selama lebih-kurang 5 - 7 minit dan bolehlah dihidangkan...

Chocolate Chips Cheesecake

Ingredients:
* 15 pcs graham digestive biscuits (blend or break into crumbs)
* 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/2 cup butter, melted
* 3 (250g) packages cream cheese
* 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
* 3 eggs
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Mix digestive biscuits crumbs, butter and cocoa. Press onto bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Set crust aside.
2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk; beat well. Add vanilla and eggs, and beat on medium speed until smooth. Toss 1/3 of the miniature chocolate chips with the 1 teaspoon flour to coat (this keeps them from sinking to the bottom of the cake). Mix into cheese mixture. Pour into prepared crust. Sprinkle top with remaining chocolate chips.
3. Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 1 hour. Turn off oven (do not open oven door) and leave the cake in the oven to cool in the oven for another hour. Remove from oven and cool completely. Refrigerate before removing sides of pan. Keep cake refrigerated until time to serve.

Gooey Chocolate Cake


Actually I'm not sure about the name of these recipe but when all the ingredients needed are in hand so I thought why not give it a try and it was no regret for trying as it turn out to be very good and very easy to make too. Aiman & Fana just can't stop eating until Hubby had to remind them to keep some for him.....

Ingredients:
* 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix ( I use BettyCrocker)
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 cup butter, melted
*
* 250g cream cheese, softened
* 1/2 cup butter, melted
* 2 eggs
* 2 cups confectioners' sugar


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9 x 13 inch pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup melted butter. Spread into prepared pan.
3. In another bowl, Beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in 1/2 cup melted butter and 2 eggs. Gradually beat in the confectioner's sugar. Pour over the crust mixture already in the pan.
4. Bake for 40-45 mins. Cool.

Classic Swiss Roll


The very last time make this cake was 3 - 4 yrs ago and the result was not very good so when I came across the recipe again, I decided to give it a try one more time and this time the result came out beautifully.......

Ingredients:
3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
1/2 cups fine sugar
3/4 cup cake flour
2 tablespoons warm milk
250g strawberry jam (or any flavour), warmed

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F(175 degree C). Butter a 10 x 13 x 1 inch baking pan. line with parchment paper.

2. Beat the egg whites in a large bowl at medium speed until frothy. With high speed, beat in sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peak form.

2. Add egg yolk one at a time until just blended after each addition. Continue beating until batter is very thick and creamy, about 10 minutes.

3. use a large spatula to fold the flour into the batter, alternating with the milk. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan covering the bottom of the pan.

4. Bake for 12 minutes. Take it out from the oven and let it cool for about 3 minutes.

5. Lay the surface of your table with parchment paper, the size of the paper must be bigger than your cake. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoon of fine sugar then put the cake with the surface facing downwards, remove parchment paper from bottom of cake. Roll cake together with the parchment paper and leave to cool for about 7 minutes.

6. Unroll the cake and spread the strawberry jam over leaving a border. Roll the cake and stand seam-side down.

Ayam masak lemak cilipadi


Hari ini atas permintaan anak-anak kita masak ayam lemak cilipadi. Hmmm..kalau nak ikutkan hati memang boring nak makan ayam tapi nak buat macam kan...anak2 punya pasal...

Lamb Chop Stew


Stew ni sedap kalau makan panas2 dengan roti perancis tapi tak boleh makan selalu sangat nanti boleh kena darah tinggi.....

Ingredients:
600gm bahu kambing (lamb shoulder) yang kecil
1 sudu besar tepung gandum
3 sudu besar butter
3 labu bawang besar, didadu
2 batang lobak merah, dipotong kecil2
4 batang celery stick,dipotong kecil2
10 biji baby potato, di rebus & kupas kulitnya
1 kuntum bunga lawang
2 biji pelaga
1 - 2cm kulit kayu manis
lada sulah
garam
4 cawan air

Directions:
1. Gaulkan lamb shoulder bersama tepung, garam & lada sulah dan gorengkan didalam kuali dengan sedikit minyak selama 5 minit. Angkat.

2. Di dalam periuk cairkan butter dan tumiskan bunga lawang, pelaga dan kayu manis hingga wangi. Masukkan bawang & lobak merah dan tumis hingga bawang layu.

3. Masukkan air dan daging yang telah digoreng tadi dan masak hingga daging empuk. Masukkan celery dan kentang. Tambahkan sedikit bancuhan tepung jagung jika ingin kuahnya pekat sedikit dan akhir sekali masukkan serbuk lada sulah dan garam secukup rasa.

Jemput-Jemput Pisang


Pagi ni goreng jemput-jemput pisang ada orang sebut cikodok pisang..apapun tak kisahlah asalkan bendanya sama. Jemput-jemput pisang ni aku goreng untuk sarapan. Semalam suruh hubby beli pisang so sebelum tidur siapkan dulu adunan dan simpan dalam fridge. Pagi dalam pukul 5.15 gitu aku pun gorenglah supaya hubby boleh bawa pergi ke tempat kerja untuk sarapan. Goreng pagi-pagi sebab hubby keluar kerja pukul 6.00 pagi.
