Brownies for Syaiful's skyrunner team (NDP 08)




Semalam kita buatkan Syaiful 2 tray brownies untuk team skyrunner dia....sebenarnya kita tak pernah buat wording kat brownies kita...tapia anak request punya pasal....apa pun kita sanggup.
Bila dah siap kita tengok not bad jugak....boleh tahanlah......dan dia pun happy.....

Brownies




Hari ni Boos order brownies untuk besday colleague dia. Actually dia order last minute....tak sampai hati pulak nak tolak....tapi sebenarnya dia nak order macam2 tapi aku tak laratlah sebab dah penat sangat so aku nak rest buat beberapa hari sebelum start masak semula.
Nak di jadikan cerita, semalam aku sakit pulak......sakit kepala, sakit tekak & sakit seluruh badan....nak bangun pun tak larat. Lepas makan ubat, dalam pukul 9 malam...aku pun pengsan sampai pagi.....tak teringat pun tentang brownies yang sepatutnya aku siapkan malam semalam. So pagi tadi masa bangun tidur at around pukul 4.45 pagi tu aku rasa macam menggelabah gitu dan dengan tak membuang masa lepas aku siapkan sarapan untuk hubby & anak2 nak pergi kerja & sekolah, aku pun buatlah brownies tu.....alhamdulillah siap pun.....fuhhhhh.....

Hubby bertungkus lumus tolong kita siapkan semua ni. Untuk satu malam tu dia cuma tidur lebih kurang 1 jam je...kita pun...pas tu siap jadi drebar lagi untuk delivery.....terimakasih suami ku....tanpa sokongan mu, aku tak sampai ke tahap ini....



Butter Cake


BUTTER CAKE

  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups margarine or butter, softened
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch tube pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and margarine until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and lemon juice. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; mix into the batter alternating with the milk just until blended. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the crown comes out clean. Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Kuih Lompang




Semalam kita buat kuih lompang sebab ada orang order. Kita rugi tau...sebab kita kena buat sampai 5 adunan untuk 100 biji kuih (kalau nak diikutkan, 2 adunan dah boleh dapat ) sebab mula2 kita buat 3 adunan...ingat nak dapat lebih sikit jadi boleh kata hantar kat rumah adik kita sikit untuk dia rasa2..tapikan kuih kita tu tak menjadi....ntah kita pun tak tahu kenapa...kita ikut instruction dari A sampai Z tau....
Kita pun apalagi..menggelabahlah..sebab ni kan tempahan orang.
Nasib baik masih ada masa lagi dan bahan2 pun ada lagi...so kita pun buatlah dua adunan lagi.
Fuhh...nasib baik kali ni jadi....tapi kita tak dapat kasi adik kita sebab 2 adunan hanya dapat lebih sikit dari 100 biji.....so...sori eh......

Coco Crisp Cheesecake



Hari Isnin kita buat cheesecake, selalunya kalau buat cheesecake cuma weekend je sebab bila semua ada kat rumah..cheesecake kita laku....tapi kali ni buat hari Isnin sebab tiba2 je kita teringat yang kita ada cream cheese kat dalam fridge. So kita pun checklah due date dia...sekali kita tengok due date dia tinggal 2 hari je lagi...apalagi terus keluarkan dari fridge le.
Selalunya kita kalau buat cheesecake kita gunakan 'Digestive Biscuit' untuk base dia tapi ni kira2 dah urgent ni...tengok kat meja tu ada butter cookies...apalagi...kita guna butter cookies lah untuk base dia....Masa tengah aduk tu terpandang pulak 'Coco Crisp' Aiman.....kita pun ambik lah satu cawan coco crisp tu dan campurkan kat dalam adunan kita.....jadilah.....Coco Crisp Cheesecake.....

Basic Buns


Basic buns recipe which is very easy to prepare without bread machine. You can make any type of bread that you can think of using this recipe.

Ingredients:

* 3/4 cup milk
* 3/4 cup water
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 eggs
* 5 teaspoons active dry yeast
* 5 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup margarine, melted

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, warm milk, water, sugar and salt. Remove from heat, and mix in the eggs and yeast.
2. Measure flour into a large bowl. Make a well in the flour, and pour milk mixture into it. Do not stir. Cover with a lid, and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.
3. Pour melted margarine into flour, and mix well. Add more flour if too sticky. Knead lightly. Cover, and let rise for 20 to 30 minutes.
4. Shape the dough into rolls, and place on a baking sheet. Let rise again for 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Bake rolls in a preheated 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) oven for 15 minutes, or until done.

Peach Cobbler




Ingredients:
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup milk
* 1/2 cup margarine, melted
* 1 (29 ounce) can sliced canned peaches, drained
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Pour milk into dry ingredients and then stir in melted margarine. Mix thoroughly.
3. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Arrange peaches on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Roti Pita

1 1/8 cawan air suam panas (45 degrees C)
3 cawan tepung gandum
1 sudu teh garam
1 sudu besar minyak masak 1 1/2 sudu teh gula
1 1/2 sudu teh instant yeast (kering)


Directions:
1. Ayakkan tepung ke dalam mangkuk besar dan buatkan lubang di tengah2nya.

2. Satukan semua bahan2 ditengah-tengah tepung tadi dan uli hingga menjadi doh yang lembut (doh ini agak melekit dan jangan tambah tepung lagi). Tutupkan dengain kain yang lembab dan biarkan sehingga doh naik dua kali ganda.

3. Setelah doh naik, tumbuk untuk mengeluarkan angin dari doh. Diatas papan canai, tabirkan tepung dan uli doh sekali lagi dan bahagikan kepada 8 bahgian dan bulat2kan. Canaikan doh hingga menjadi 6 - 7 inci bulatan. Tutupkan dengan kain lembap selama lebih kurang 1/2 jam dan bakar selama 10 minit.

Cara menghidangkannya:

belah roti pita menjadi 2 bahgian dan isikan dengan inti kegemaran anda

French Toast


This french toast is quite special as it uses flour to coat it. Kids will love it especially when serve with maple syrup during breakfast or anytime of the day.

Ingredients:
1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon sugar
12 slices of bread


Directions:
1. Put flour in a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar until smooth.

2. Heat a lightly greased griddle or frying pan over medium heat.

3. Coat the bread slice with the flour mixture and cook on both side until golden brown

Ikan Siakap Siram Kuah Kicap


1 ekor ikan siakap/talapia
1 ibu jari halia di hiris
1 biji bawang besar di hiris
2 ulas bawang putih di hiris
5 batang cili kering digunting kecil2 atau cili merah di hiris
1 sudu kecil kunyit serbuk
1/3 cawan kicap manis
1/3 cawan air (boleh dikurangkan)
1 sudu besar cuka
garam secukup rasa


Directions:
Ikan dibersihkan, kelar badannya gaulkan bersama garam dan kunyit dan goreng terendam di dalam minyak yang panas sehingga garing. Setelah garing angkat dan taruh di dalam pinggan yang besar.

Tumis bahan2 yang dihiris bersama kunyit serbuk tadi hingga layu dan taruhkan kicap, air, cuka dan sedikit garam. Masaklah hingga mendidih. Setelah masak, siramkan ke atas ikan yang telah digoreng tadi.

Crispy French Fries


Just to make a difference to a plain french fries....

Ingredients:
* 2 1/2 pounds frozen french fries
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon garlic salt
* 1 teaspoon onion salt
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1/2 cup water, or as needed
* 1 cup vegetable oil for frying


Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. While the oil is heating, sift the flour, garlic salt, onion salt, (regular) salt, and paprika into a large bowl. Gradually stir in enough water so that the mixture can be drizzled from a spoon.
2. Dip french fries into the batter one at a time, and place in the hot oil so they are not touching at first. The fries must be placed into the skillet one at a time, or they will clump together. Fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cheese Buns






This a basic bread recipe, if you want plain bun then omit the cheese but if you like variations then you can add any ingredients that you can think of....

Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup water
1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
5 teaspoons active dry yeast
5 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cups butter, melted
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, warm milk, water, sugar & salt. Remove from heat and mix in eggs and yeast.

2. Meanwhile measure flour & parmesan cheese into a large bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour milk mixture into it. Do not stir. Cover the bowl and let stand for 20-30 minutes.

3. Pour melted butter into flour and mix well. Add more flour if too sticky. Knead lightly. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.

4. Shape the dough to your liking and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and let it rise until double the size.

5. Bake in preheated 400 degree F(205 degree C) oven for 15 minutes.

Japanese Cheesecake





Resepi cheesecake ni kita ambil kat myresepi.com. Cuba2 je dan menjadi pulak....cantik lagi.....

Ingredients:
250g cream cheese
50g butter
100ml susu (fresh milk)
6 biji kuning telur
1/4 sudu kecil garam
60g tepung gandum
20g tepung jagung
140g gula
6 biji putih telur
1/4 sudu kecil cream of tartar

Directions:
1. Sediakan tin kek yg bulat berukuran 8" - 9" yang di gris bawah dan tepinya di salut parchment paper.

2. Cairkan cream cheese, butter & susu di atas api yang kecil. Sejukkan. Kemudian masukkan tepung, tepung jagung, kuning telur & garam ke dalam adunan cream cheese & gaul hingga sebati.

3. Dalam bekas lain, pukul putih telur bersama cream of tartar sampai berbuih (foamy) dan masukkan gula dan pukul lagi dengan high speed sampai pekat (soft peak)

4. Campurkan adunan putih telur kedalam adunan cream cheese dan kacau hingga sebati. Tuangkan adunan kek dalam tin pembakar.

5. Bakar kek cara steam bath pada 160 degree C (325 degree F) untuk 1 jam. Sejukkan.
